We grew tired of the standard salon model, creating a new environment that nurtures a healthy mindset when it comes to all things beauty and wellness. We’ve put forth various values that mark our efforts in reinventing the contemporary salon model.
01 / JE NE SAIS QUOI
First and foremost, ŌRA is about capturing and enhancing that special something that each of our clients possesses - what the French might call ‘je ne sais quoi”. It's that it-factor that can’t easily be described. Our concept is built on celebrating this through beauty practices that emphasize effortless and healthy results. We feel it’s something that our salon exudes; by creating a space that demonstrates welcoming, nurturing, and supportive behavior.

We believe the best way for our clients to get the most out of a beauty or salon experience is by offering them a diverse array of services. While we have worked hard to cherry-pick some of our region’s most talented and sought-after beauty experts, we also wanted to nurture their own entrepreneurship along the way. We view all of our team members as partners, not staff. ŌRA serves to provide them with an innovative and collaborative work environment. We believe that this means our team can only flourish, and our clients have exclusive access to a myriad of talent. When collaboration is at the forefront of beauty, the possibilities seem endless.

We want you to feel at your most comfortable here. From our luxury hair washing stations to enjoying a cappuccino during your service, we want you to feel at ease and pampered throughout your time with us. Our salon was designed to support an ideal experience. The WiFi is yours to use so you can work remotely from the salon chair (we won’t tell!). Indulge in our complimentary snacks and beverages including; coffee (hot or iced), tea, espresso, and a cheerful selection of wines…if you’ve had one of those days, or if you have something to celebrate! With abundant natural light and ample room to stretch out and unwind, we hope you’ll fall in love with our space just as much as we have.

Our salon is meant to serve as a haven, for both our clients and team. It’s more than just a place to get your hair done, it’s a gathering spot where stories are told, laughs are shared and uniqueness is celebrated. We foster an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome regardless of age, gender, or style. We understand our craft holds great power- the power to boost self-confidence and encourage self-love. In keeping with a deep sense of community we use our space in several flexible ways; from furthering the education of our team to hosting events that allow our community to grow even closer.
ŌRA is a Proud Sponsor of Star Kids
The mission of the Star Kids Scholarship Program is to provide educational opportunities in the form of tuition aid to effective non-public schools, uniforms, after-school and summer programs, tutoring and mentoring for those high-risk, low-income children who have a parent with a history of incarceration and/or substance abuse. Children are typically enrolled in the program between kindergarten and grade 4. Star Kids’ goal for each child is to graduate from high school. By completing high school and hopefully going on to higher education, these children will have a greater chance of breaking the intergenerational cycle of poverty, drug use, disease, depression, and violence.
